The Silly Twas The Night Before Christmas poem

‘Twas five days before Christmas and all through the house,
The decorations not up and Mom scurried like a mouse.
We went to the Internet to find stockings there,
In hopes that St. Nicholas won’t have to use our underwear.

The children raced around, their faces red,
With the words “HURRY!” and “QUICKLY” stuck in their head.
Mamma insane and I in my thinking cap,
Trying to figure how to decorate in a snap.

Out in the garage there was such a clutter,
I went to find something and started to mutter.
Away to the store we went for some shopping.
The kids slowed me down, but there was no stopping.

There were hundreds, and hundreds of so many rows!
Of toys, trains, candies, and bows!
When, what to my tired eyes should appear,
But the perfect star and our friend, Mr. Deveer!

Just as we finished, my brother got very sick,
And threw up all over the store’s St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles, home we came,
But then there it was just more of the same.

We continued to clean and decorate in a hurry,
Then, we decided that it was worth all the scurry.
We made cookies to eat and left Santa some,
We’re all ready now, for the big man to come.

As I fell in bed the world was all right,
Merry Christmas to you and have a good night!

Reindeer Farm!

When I went to Anchorage, we went to a reindeer farm! We looked around at a gift shop, took a ride with elves, went sledding, took a picture with Santa, and fed some reindeer.
Here's some pictures.
                                                                                  Hi, Comet!

Trip to Anchorage

A couple weeks ago we went to Anchorage - without a visit to the audiologist! It was cool! We went to a reindeer farm, -we'll tell you about that in the next post- a few stores, and we also lounged at a hotel. We traveled all over Anchorage!

Wait for the next post! It's going to be reindeer next!

Thanksgiving Feast!

A month ago we had a Thanksgiving feast! We had beets, stuffing, cranberry sauce yams, weird candy stuff, a turkey (of course!), rolls, apple cider (it tasted like apple pop!), and water with ice (I didn't have any ice). The feast was scrumptious! I sat down starving and stood up full! And for the grand finale, we had pumpkin cheesecake!

Here's some pics:

GIANT SLIDE!!!!!!!!!

Nolan, Ethan, and I gathered blankets, pillows, and other soft materials to make a giant slide.

Here's some pics.

Just wait for the next post! It'll be a lot better than this one (because in the pics, I wasn't wearing a shirt and Nolan looks like he's screaming and saw a spooky ghost)!

Cameron's First Steps

Guess what? Cameron started walking (with support of a toy that helps a baby's ability to walk) around the living room!

Here's some pics of that....
Cameron checking out the new sounds and noise

And here's Cameron looking surprised.

David Greenberg came!

One night, one very special night, the author David Tanzer Greenberg came to our school! The last time an author came, it was like, 30 years ago, when the last one came! We listened to him say out loud a couple of the poems he wrote. Then we wrote poems of our own. They weren't poems that rhymed. They were poems that in one, it had the same sound. Here's a few of our own:

1. Nolan, the Nigerian gnat, knows next-to-nothing about neanderthals nibbling nebulae.

2. Cameron, the crabby crocodile, can careen cryptically on the Caribbean.

3. Brenden, the boiled banshee, bunts a ball into a bucket.

4.Ethan, the embodied edchidna, eats eggs on everything.

We also got a few books from David, to be autographed.

                                                                               Snakes!

The autograph for "Snakes!"
There was a lot of others, but these are samples.

Just wait for the next post!

Trrrick! Trrreat!

About 3 weeks ago, we went trick or treating. Ethan was Clark Kent, Nolan was a knight, Mom was a nun, Dad was a Catholic priest, Cameron was a baby Dracula, and I was the headless man.

Me, the headless horseman, running with my cape flapping behind me.
Me, the headless horseman, rushing at Mom.
                                                                     Count Camerona.

Ethan, Superman (a.k.a. Clark Kent.)
Knight Nolan with his cape flapping in the wind.
And we had a lot of fun going trick-or-treating.

Just wait! There's more posts coming along!

Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Halloween is coming! We finally got one major room clean (The living room)! We decorated for Halloween. We got a Frankenstein here and a witch there. Today at church, for Music in Primary, we listened to a witch (Really Mrs. Ellis) tell us a incantation of:"Colors of the Rainbow, all gone white. Bring them back into my sight!" since we were mixing supposedly potions into colors to put on the Rainbow. Are you wondering what this has to do with music? After a color we sing a song (Something like "Scripture Power"). Then we do another color.

Next we will likely have a post about trick-or-treating!

Sorting Time!

I am a money lover. Wanna know why? I use my money to buy Pokemon cards like Samurott, Emboar, and Serperior. I sorted my money into groups: Pokemon, College, and Missionary. The Book Fair is today and I wanted to buy a certain book, but my mom convinced me to use her money.

What books do you like?
I bet the next post will be even better!

FISH!!!!!!!!!!!!

See those cute little fish on the right? Move your mouse into the box where they swim and click. When you do that little fish flakes come out. They eat that and then when they are finished they swim to the mouse and bump their heads on it, wondering if there are any left. (Feed them every once in a while!)

I have an awesome rock collection! I have 1 piece of fool's gold and 9 gemstones. I used to have a piece of limestone, granite, salt, 3 emerging quartz, and 1 piece of fool's gold. My dad has 1 awesome fish fossil and a slab of really hard slate, though slate is supposed to be breakable. My mom has diamonds, emeralds, and sapphires. Ms. Renee has a collection of garnets (My hearing teacher).
Do you have a rock collection?

An Atheletic Day

After school my mom picked me up. When we got home we went inside. Then my mom told me "We gotta clean up to decorate for halloween." I replied "I'll help outside with dad." "Okay." Mom said back. When I got out there I saw Ethan and Nolan riding around on scooters I asked dad "Can you get my scooter down too?" He said back "Yes." I jumped on my scooter and practiced my curves. After a while I noticed my bike. I decided I wanted to go on the bike. I hopped on and rode down a hill. After a while again I hopped on the scooter again. Then Nolan asked me to go by T.J.'s house, one of Ethan's girlfriends. Then we rode around again.

Here is a picture of the scooter and bike.
Wait for the next post!

Hilarious Baby

Cameron Man is just hilarious! This night he stole my blanket and when I went to retrieve it he laid down so he could defend the blanket. But unfortunately he had a whole clump of blanket on his right side. I tugged it from underneath him and laid it somewhere else. When I saw Cameron crawling towards the blanket I thought Maybe if I put a toy in front of him he could get attracted to the toy! I tried. It didn't work. He kept on steaming towards the blanket. I watched Cameron cuddle with the blanket tiredly. Did the same again. Then we played a game of Trade!!! When I saw Cameron offer me one of his baby books I said " Do you want to trade? Okay." He gave me the book and I gave him the blanket. Then he wanted the book back. Then I said "Okay but you need to give back the blanket." We did that until I got the hint he wanted both. There was no reason to disappoint a baby, so I gave him both.

I've got more stories up my sleeve but I just have to find them!
(Sorry, no pics because they refuse to go on this post!)

Pokemon

One of my most favorite things on the earth are Pokemon. The creatures down there are Pokemon. It is a game that was made in Japan then it was passed down to America. All over the world there are Pokemon cards, movies, and games. I have more then a hundred of Pokemon cards. I've made my own decks and played the Trading Card Game (also TCG) with them. I've made accounts too. Here's a website pokemon.com.

What do you think?

A lemonade stand

While Savannah was here we decided that we would have a lemonade stand. We brought along a: pitcher of water, three cups of lemonade mixture, a table, a tablecloth, cups, scissors, duct tape, a chair, and a sign. Gavin, Nolan, and Dad bought like, 5 cups of lemonade which got us about $2.50 of our money. Then a fireman, a random person, and Emilee (A classmate) bought lemonade. When we were finished we had $5.60! We divided the money so that we each got $2.80. Not so much huh? Wait and see for a update!
