Book Review #2: Eric Rex

Name: Eric Rex

Description: Eric Rex has a family of 12 and he has a condition he calls "cloudy thoughts". That condition causes him to do stuff he doesn't understands and sometimes doesn't want to do.
Then one morning, Erec's mother is missing. His power commands him to find her, taking him on an adventure that will change him forever. He meets Bethany, a kindred spirit who also lost both parents in a mysterious past. Together, they discover the magical worlds of Alypium, Ashona, and Aorth, where the knowledge of magic is kept.
Things in Alypium are amiss: their King Piter is hypnotized, and his castle lies on its side. When Erec tries on his mother's glasses, he finds he can see her wherever she is. She is a prisoner of King Pluto of Aorth, one of the triplets that rule over the Kingdom of the Keepers. Erec can not understand why Pluto would want her ... but secrets start to tumble out. Erec learns he was born in Alypium, and he may not be safe there. He is upset she has hidden so much from him, and loses trust in her.
His only hope to rescue his mother is to find ingredients for a formula to blast her free. While searching for them, he enters contests to choose the next three rulers of Alypium.

Main Characters: Eric, Bethany, Mom.

My opinion: IT IS AWE-INSPIRING!

Book Review #1: Series of Unfortunate Events

Name: Series of Unfortunate Events

Description: Klaus, Violet, and Sunny are three kids with a lot of misfortune... and the Baudelaire fortune. In the first book, they meet a clever, filthy, and cunning personage, Count Olaf. After foiling his first evil plan to get his filthy hands on the fortune, Olaf begins following them under count-less disguises and identities. In the first book he's his normal self, but then in the second book he's another person, and in the third book he's- well, you have probably got the idea.

Main Characters: Count Olaf, Sunny, Klaus, Violet

The Silly Twas The Night Before Christmas poem

‘Twas five days before Christmas and all through the house,
The decorations not up and Mom scurried like a mouse.
We went to the Internet to find stockings there,
In hopes that St. Nicholas won’t have to use our underwear.

The children raced around, their faces red,
With the words “HURRY!” and “QUICKLY” stuck in their head.
Mamma insane and I in my thinking cap,
Trying to figure how to decorate in a snap.

Out in the garage there was such a clutter,
I went to find something and started to mutter.
Away to the store we went for some shopping.
The kids slowed me down, but there was no stopping.

There were hundreds, and hundreds of so many rows!
Of toys, trains, candies, and bows!
When, what to my tired eyes should appear,
But the perfect star and our friend, Mr. Deveer!

Just as we finished, my brother got very sick,
And threw up all over the store’s St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles, home we came,
But then there it was just more of the same.

We continued to clean and decorate in a hurry,
Then, we decided that it was worth all the scurry.
We made cookies to eat and left Santa some,
We’re all ready now, for the big man to come.

As I fell in bed the world was all right,
Merry Christmas to you and have a good night!

Reindeer Farm!

When I went to Anchorage, we went to a reindeer farm! We looked around at a gift shop, took a ride with elves, went sledding, took a picture with Santa, and fed some reindeer.
Here's some pictures.
                                                                                  Hi, Comet!

Wait for the next post!

Trip to Anchorage

A couple weeks ago we went to Anchorage - without a visit to the audiologist! It was cool! We went to a reindeer farm, -we'll tell you about that in the next post- a few stores, and we also lounged at a hotel. We traveled all over Anchorage!

Wait for the next post! It's going to be reindeer next!

Thanksgiving Feast!

A month ago we had a Thanksgiving feast! We had beets, stuffing, cranberry sauce yams, weird candy stuff, a turkey (of course!), rolls, apple cider (it tasted like apple pop!), and water with ice (I didn't have any ice). The feast was scrumptious! I sat down starving and stood up full! And for the grand finale, we had pumpkin cheesecake!

Here's some pics:
